There are a lot to eat at Jiufen Old Street (or Ji Shan Jie 基山街) but most of them close at around 6 – 7pm. Hence, we took a stroll along Shùqí Road to check out what’s good for dinner since we were told that there are few teahouses open till late. Glad to find that Xi Meng Ren Sheng Teahouse 戲夢人生茶飯館 was still opened and they serve noodles and rice! I was actually not-so-into-it when the old people said they wanna dine in here. Touristy spot eh, I doubted the food will taste good. Since they were craving for rice, I had no choice but walked in with them.
