Mimi Daifuku 米米福 @ Kota Damansara
Mimi Daifuku 米米福
Nestled in Kota Damansara, Mimi Daifuku is a Japanese-influenced café specializing in the Japanese wagashi Daifuku. This little café is really cute and zen-ish. Filled with bamboo and lush green surrounding; make you feel as though you are in a zen garden, sipping tea and pair it up with their special wagashi. Very insta-worthy.
Daifuku is a popular Japanese confection, chewy soft mochi filled with sweeten red bean paste (anko) and sometimes stuffed with strawberry or any kind of seasonal fruits. Mimi Daifuku offers both types of daifuku, their original version is the red bean filings and topped with ichigo (strawberry); while the classic version is stuffed with strawberry and layered with a thin layer of anko.

Ajisai Matcha Latte (Rm 15)
The perfect combo with wagashi, a matcha latte!
Besides wagashi and drinks, they serve main dishes too; such as hearty Salmon Ochazuke, Cold Kishimen with Onsen Egg, Nekomanma (Cat Rice), Salmon Bento and Unagi Bento.
I had the hearty Salmon Bento (Rm 29). It came dosed with lots of salmon made into flakes, vegetable and tamago, beautifully arranged in the bento box. Truly comforting.
