Grilled Gyoza Dumpling (Rm 17)
One serving comes with six pieces and I must say these are never enough. Using gyoza skin made of whole wheat flour and stuffed with juicy meaty fillings and finally pan-fried into crispy perfection. The gyoza was crispy on the outside with juicy broth on the inside. The juice oozed out as I bite in! This has to be the best and juiciest gyoza I come across in KL! Juicy, meaty and busting with flavours.
They even have this A4 page teaching you how to enjoy their gyoza. You can enjoy the gyoza at its own, or enjoy it with their homemade chili oil, soy sauce and vinegar at your preference.
Observing the staff wrapping gyoza. Such a therapeutic work, wraping and arranging them neatly.
Gyoza with Chili Oil and Chopped Green Onion (Rm 22)
Grilled gyoza dumplings topped with chili oil and chopped green onions. To our surprise, the chopped bits tasted really familiar, like the Chinese芋头糕’s (Yam cake) aromatic shrimps bits!
Gyoza with Spicy Cod Roe and Mayonnaise (Rm 22)
Grilled gyoza dressed with mentaiko mayonnaise and garnished with chopped negi and ito togarashi.
Fresh Coriander Salad (Rm 22)
Coriander freaks would love this! Came with a whole mountain of corianders in their special nutty salad dressing and garnished with some cashew bits. 实现芫荽自由!
Dipping Wheat Noodles with Spicy Sesame Soup (Rm 24)
The dipping wheat noodles may look ordinary but it was quite a wow. The noodles’ texture was springy smooth, doink doink in texture; like udon’s doink but thinner than udon, I really love it as I love thin noodles. The dipping soup was really good, hinted with lots of nutty flavours. Very aromatic.
Dipping Wheat Noodles with Hot and Spicy Sesame Soup (Rm 25)
We had an order of the hot version just to compare with the non-hot version. We like the non-hot one as the mild numbness of the hot version has covered up the nutty aroma of the sesame soup.
Chinese Style Crispy Chicken with Original Sauce (Rm 25)
Deep fried chicken and served with lots if sliced onions in a refreshing sourish dressing. The chicken was pretty juicy with a crunchy outside.
Suntory Premium Malt (Rm 26)
Last but not least, a glass of beer works perfectly with our gyoza and bites!
