OatLife’s oat beverages are more than just breakfast drinks or a plant-based alternative for those who cannot consume milk. They can be added into cooking recipe and easily incorporating into daily meal diet. They contain a great source of protein and calcium, high in dietary fibre. Also, they are high in unsaturated fats and contain beta-glucan that helps to reduce the cholesterol.

Uniting Flavour & Healthy by OatLife

OatLife organized a private dining event with the theme “Uniting Flavour and Health” here in Dali by Chef Jean. This event highlighted how OatLife can be seamlessly incorporated into cooking, beyond just being an everyday beverage.

That evening, we were pampered with a delectable four-course meal specially crafted by Chef Jean. Chef incorporated OatLife products into his dishes in quite an unique and innovative ways.

Before the start of the dinner, we were also presented with special mocktails crafted by OatLife Barista Ambassador – Jacky Chang, demonstrating the versatility of OatLife products beyond the kitchen.

We were given a choice of the refreshing creations such as Crystal Oat and the indulgent Pandan Cloud Oat-Maicha, all made with OatLife Barista Oat Milk.

I picked up the Crystal Oat and I found it impressive. One wouldn’t have known there was oatmilk added into this mocktail! You couldn’t see the cloudy white oatmilk colour in this drink, but as you savour it down the palate, there was a coffee oatmilk lingering aftertaste. How interesting! Got to know that Jacky used a special technique to extract the oatmilk with lemon juice, he also top up the drink with ginger ale for an extra refreshing mouthfeel.

Golden Banana Pillow with Gula Melaka Sauce
This dish mimics our Malaysia famous street food Pisang Goreng (Banana Fritters). It was made using the OatLife Oat Milk Barista; fried to golden perfection and served with Gula Melaka Sauce that has been frozen prior serving. Sounds like an ice cream to me! LOL.
