Pin Xiang Xi Signature Chinese Cuisine @ Seri Kembangan
Back to our favourite Chinese restaurant again! Basically we will be here in Pin Xiang Xi Signature Chinese Cuisine 品湘喜 on monthly basis. This round we asked the chef to customize a menu that comes with seafood and lighter version of dishes to cater our relatives who prefer lighter flavours. Chef never fails to surprise us; it was another amazing dinner with really delicious dishes and tummy comforting.

千丝瑶柱羹
Comforting soup that is made of tofu. Just look at the work by the chef; tofu was finely cut into thin strands and made into flavourful umami soup.
酥姜蒸石斑鱼
Steamed fish that is always made right, garnished with lots of fried ginger floss and chopped spring onions. Aromatic.
酸酐蒸三鲜
Steamed seafood dish in sourish calamansi sauce and made slightly spicy, loaded with clams, sotong and prawns. This sourish spicy sauce was so addictive and made us keep pairing it with fluffy white rice, kept digging in for more! 好下饭呀!
芋头炒芥兰
This was really my first time seeing stir-fry kalian with yam! How interesting! And very delicious too.
佛钵飘香
Crispy golden yam ring with stir fry chicken cubes, chicken cubes was not in its typical flavours, it was made into lighter flavours and paired well with the well flavoured crispy yam ring.
浙江骨
Sweet and sour pork ribs
Chef came out with this deep fried pork at the end of the meal too, for us to snack along with our drinks. However this one has a lot of rooms for improvements as it was made way too soft to our liking.
Again, I didn’t manage to capture the desserts. They were the 水果盘 fruit platter and 桂花糕 that was the lightly hinted with osmanthus.
