ALTA Café @ Jalan Bangkung, Bangsar
Having heard so much about the best beef burger in town, and yes we finally made it here!
ALTA café
Located at the quieter side of Bangsar, at Jalan Bangkung, ALTA Café takes up a space here on the upper level of a shoplot, serving satisfying simple dishes that are made from scratch and locally sourced (where possible).
During the day, they offer nourishing breakfast or brunch plates, power it with a coffee or tea, or even with a glass of wine, at you own preference. At night, they offer small plates, snack and larger sharing dishes for the patrons, have a glass of wine or a few, or with some beer too.
Bright and inviting, perfectly nice ambience for a get-together breakfast or brunch! Also, the wall with the framed poster/ pictures are quite instagrammable.
Iced Black (Rm 10)
Coffee here is quite a friendly one, as compared to many places! Rm 9 for a Black and Rm 11 for a White!
White Wine (Rm 30) for me!
They serve La carlina serafina 2020 as house pour.
Campari & Soda (Rm 35)
Fizzy and refreshing. Gosh, in need of this one on a hot weather day!
Alta Beef Burger (Rm 26)
Angus beef, double patty, cheddar, onions, special sauce, potato roll
The must have signature burger with the juiciest beef patty! Yes a lot better than this one I had earlier !!! Juicy beef patties with melty cheese and onions sandwiched in between the fluffy buns. As you bite in, you will find it bursting with juicesssss. By far this is the juiciest beef burger I have come across!
Spaghetti (RM 34)
Zucchini, parmesan, ricotta, fresh herbs
Cheesy and flavourful but somehow it was a little too salty to our liking. Perhaps the chef overdid it that noon.
Smoked Haddock Omelette (Rm 34)
Classic Arnold bennett, spinach, sourdough
Smoky, savoury, creamy and cheesy, to go along with the chewy sourdough; it was kinda salty, with a few layer of saltiness from the dish.
