Been El Cerdo in Changkat Bukit Bintang N years back, little did I know they have another outlet in TTDI.
El Cerdo
This outlet in TTDI has a different ambience; equipped with a chic and sophisticated dining space, painted in black, with floor to ceiling glass window bringing in lots of natural lighting. Rather classy.
That night, I sampled on their Set Menu that fits for 2 persons, priced at Rm 328++. I find it pretty much a great deal as it comes with a salad, half tail of the signature suckling pig, a pasta loaded with pork shoulder steaks and ended with sweet ending. Portion is pretty huge too and we had to take away the unfinished suckling pig.

Come to a Spanish place, their sangria is a must try! I must say they did very good sangria, I had the red one and it was quite a punch. Love its concoction!
Complementary bread and shredded pork meat spread
Caesar Salad
Romaine lettuce, crisp bacon, ciabatta croutons tossed with house’s classic garlic anchovy dressing and silvers of aged parmesan cheese.
A refreshing classic starter that comes in great portion. Love its sauce and dosing with lots of parmesan cheese. Not to mention the crispy bacon and crunchy croutons too!
“Cochinillo Al Estilo Segoviano”
Half piglet of Spanish Slow Roasted Suckling Pig, served with roasted baby potatoes and house salad.
The signature and also the must order when dining in El Cerdo. It comes with tradition of Plate Cutting Ceremony and followed by making your wish and breaking the plate into the wooden pail for good luck.
Crispy outer skin with tender meat at the right proportion of fats; delicious.
El Cerdo Pasta
On a bed of spaghetti aglio olio with tomato relish and crispy serrano ham (grilled pork shoulder steak)
The grilled pork steak was great in portion, layered with tomato relish that helps to cut of the grease from the earlier dish, and compatible well with the al dente aglio olio.
Werner’s Special
Fresh strawberries in mango sauce with chocolate mousse and wild raspberry sorbet
There is no need to fight for dessert as it comes in a pair, in huge portion too! Sourish sorbet with sweet mango sauce and swirled with smooth chocolate mousse which was really a perfect sweet ending to the course. Double thumbs up to the dessert!
