Tempura Lunch Course @ Yoshinari, Plaza Damas 3, Hartamas
No prize for guessing where is my favourite-to-go place again! Yoshinari it is. Back here again on my birthday month to savour on their Tempura Course (Reservation only), very comforting and satisfying; at the price of Rm 80.
The Tempura Course comes with a small dish, tempura soup, few pieces of tempura in a mix of vegetables and meat, today’s dish and ended with Zuke Tamago Rice and miso soup. Read here for my first Tempura Course experience .

Appetiser – Chilled egg and spinach
Love its orangey egg yolk!
Tempura Clear Soup with Tempura Gobo, Carrot, Onion and Prawn
Ebi – Prawn and its head
Nasu & Kabocha – Eggplant and Pumpkin
Horse Mackerel wrapped with Sakura Leaf
No salt needed as the fish was marinated. Love this!
Renkon – Lotus Root

Naga Imo – Mountain Yam
Lady’s finger, Baby Corn, Cherry Tomato
The batter for the vegetables turned out to be slightly thicker at this time, but it was still light on tummy. Love the cherry tomato that was bursting sweetness.
Kisu – Whiting Fish
Pasta
This round we were served with pasta instead of cured egg yolk and rice. Ahhh, love this wafu style pasta, garnished with chopped shiso leaves; a refreshing end to our course.
