A sophisticated fine dining place, leaded by Chef Evert Onderbeke, Soleil Restaurant & Wine Bar is specializing in authentic contemporary European cuisines interlaced with Asian elements. Recently, it has just listed in the Michelin Selected too.

Great to see that they offer lunch course at a pocket-friendly price. We were here to sample on their Executive Set Lunch – 2 Course is priced at Rm 75 per person or 3 Course is priced at Rm 95 per person; where you can choose your starters, mains and desserts according to your course.

The starters’ selection for this menu is very attractive. We wanted to try all of them but there were only four of us. I really fancy all the starters we chose especially the Beef Flank Tartare and Escargots. Mains were pretty huge in portion (maybe for us ladies) too! New Zealand Lemon Sole was the crowd-pleaser, made to juicy on the inside and crispy on its skin and bones. Next were Duck Confit and Black Angus Cheese Burger. Ohhh, and the crispy bits duck crackling in the Slow Cooked Chicken Breast pasta was really addictive!

Wine first, think later. We had a bottle of White Wine – Arrogant Frog Chardonnay, Languedoc-Rousillion 2020 (Rm 130 per bottle) to pair with our meal.
