New Leng Kee Restaurant 新粦记海鲜饭店
Glad to find that Leng Kee Seafood Restaurant 粦记海鲜楼 that was used to be in Taman Taytnton View has now relocated to this new place and renamed as New Leng Kee Restaurant 新粦记海鲜饭店 .Although their new premise in Taman Segar is rather small, they still stir up promising comfort fares that are reasonably priced. That makes my family revisited 2 times in a week for their simple dishes, and we even repeated some of the dishes like sweet and sour pork and kangkung!
Thai Style Beancurd 泰式豆腐 (Rm 18)
Sweet and Sour Pork Fillet 古老肉 (Rm 20)
Always my favourite dish in the dai chow place. This one was made really ngam ngam hou (just right in Cantonese), its sweetness and sourish was just right, and the pork fillet was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Coated with the sauce, so yummy to go with the rice.
Stir-fry Beancurd with Melon 胜瓜豆腐 (Rm 16)
Stir-fry Eggplant 鱼香茄子 (Rm 18)
Richly packed with flavours, and yes, very well-seasoned.
Stir-fry Kangkung with Belacan 马来栈翁菜 (Rm 15)
Our all-time must have when dining in a Chinese restaurant, filled with lots of wok hei
Salted Egg Yolk Sotong 咸蛋苏东 (Rm 30)
Another good dish. The squid is deep fried into perfection and even coated with the salted egg yolk and packed with the aroma of curry leaves. Pretty addictive!
