TOKYO: Aoyama Flower Market Tea House @ Akasaka
Back to my #JapanTravelTales, I must recommend this place. I believe many people know about this place and this is also in your bucket list for afternoon tea when in Japan.
Aoyama Flower Market Tea House
Aoyama Flower Market Tea House is a flower shop cum tea café which has been around since year 1989 in the Aoyama’s neighbourhood and living with the motto “Living with Flowers Every Day”. This place is indeed every girl’s favourite. The whole area is like a green house, surrounded with seasonal flowers and touches with charming greenery; a very Instagram worthy café.
Look at the ambience! Isn’t it beautiful over here?
Flower madness! You can even get your bouquet from here!
Even the tables are made of clear glasses with real plants sprouting below. There are flowers placed on the every table too.
My friend and I were there at around 4pm and found no queue. Had some luck on it. Read quite a bit and there was always queue to this tea house.
I had the Kimono Tea and WenChing had another tea which I have forgotten the name, we both shared an in-season ‘limited time’ only dessert too.
Kimono (¥ 700) with a blend of green tea, rose, peach and apricot, appeared in beautiful reddish hue.
‘Limited time’ only French Toast (¥ 1,000)
French toast with seasonal fruits – momo (peach) landed on our table prettily, and very delicious too! Japanese peaches are delicate and sweetest ever! Wish we both could order another dessert but we were saving some rooms for our dinner.
