SIEM REAP: Sarai Resort & Spa
Sarai Resort & Spa
Sarai Resort & Spa is best known as a luxurious oasis in the exotic city of Siem Reap. This Moroccan-inspired boutique resort is very beautiful, landscaped prettily with many instagrammable corners, equipped with a stylish pool, comfortable rooms and surrounded with a greenery peaceful environment. Also, it is located in just less than 1 kilometre away from Pub Street, Old Market and Night Market. It is about USD$ 2 per tuk tuk ride per way from the hotel to these areas.
I was there for a 4 days 3 nights trip with my family. We booked this perfect accommodation that was priced at around Rm 480 per room per night (for 2 pax), came with excellent breakfast every morning; and inclusive of one way airport transfer too!
Plus point, the hotel prepared chilled mineral water for us, to counter the scotching hot weather.

In this post, I am going show you about the room, every corner of the hotel and the fabulous breakfast we had.
Check out the lobby area, isn’t it fantastic?!
The tiles, ahhhh …!
As soon as we have done with the check-in, we were led to our room. The staffs were extra helpful. They offered to give us information where we could go nearby, how to go over and what could we do around. They also alerted us on things we should take note when walking around the town.
Walkway to our hotel was extra exciting! Beautiful, isn’t it?
All the rooms have the pool view and equipped with work desks and en-suite bathroom.
Our 30sqm King Room Gold Chamber came with an inviting comfy king size bed. Equipped with TV and refrigerator with mini snack bar; provided with bath robe, slippers, hairdryer, amenities and also complementary mineral water, tea and coffee.
The window side lazy couch was definitely my favourite spot in the room.
Welcome fruit platters to welcome the guests.
Every night when we returned back to our room, we were fed with Khmer dessert.
Gym Room.
Pool here is extra fab, with Moroccan traditional architectural layout. But I have to say the pool water is very cold. Anyhow, still great for a dip into their salt water swimming pool during the hot weather days.
Happy Hour buy one get one free at Oasis Pool Bar is available daily from 5pm to 7pm. How could we miss the deal?! Had a great time chilling by the pool with my cousin with a glass of Sparkling in our hands.
Tavernello Prosecco Extra Dry at only ($ 6)
Lobby view at sunset hour. Don’t you feel the golden colour of the sunset hour came with a special feel.
The night view of the hotel was extra romantic, especially when the dim yellow light shone against the white wall and Moroccan interior.
Seasons Spa that is hidden behind this small alley. Book and pamper yourself a Khmer massage if you fancy to have one over here.
The hotel also provides cooking classes where you can learn and experience cooking Khmer Cuisine from the chef. Those who are interested in learning a new cuisine can sign up with the hotel, and they will prep everything for you.
The hotel breakfast prepared by Goat Tree Garden Restaurant was hearty and marvellous. The buffet spread was pretty extensive; salad, fruits, bread and pastries, cereal, and some servings of Khmer delicacies for guests to try out. There were also a variety of a la carte of egg dishes that were made a la minute for us to choose from.
