Super Boring Club @ Jalan Mesui, KL
Super Boring Club
Located at Jalan Mesui and sharing the same row with many insta and tastebuds-worthy restaurants such as Isabel Restaurant and Bar, Palillos Yakitori Bar , Lucky Tora; this Super Boring Club is never a boring one with its boring-sound-name; serving interesting Japanese-korean fusion dishes that are quite interesting with its fusion combinations! They even have their own merchandise on sales too!
Gyoza Mania (Rm 23.8)
Pan fried prawns gyoza with crispy thin sheet of cheese and served with curry mayo dip. Interesting combo that turned out well.
Grilled Miso Eggplant (Rm 16.8)
Grilled eggplant with homemade special miso sauce, with cube size veg in the eggplant skin basket. Grilled miso eggplant is an izakaya dish that never fails, also my must have in any izakaya.
Tori Garlic (Rm 16.8)
Japanese style deep fried chicken with mustard garlic shoyu sauce, made right and deep fried into perfection.
BBQ Combo (Rm 98) consisted of lamb char siew, smoke duck, Argentina squid and Australia wagyu flank steak; served along with side dishes such as kimchi and lettuce as wrapper for the meat. This combo came with a variety and very well balance of meat and seafood. But I hope the staff will help us on cooking the meat instead of us doing the chores, coz… I really face problem cooking in the dark ambience. LOL. That’s just me.
Dipping sauces for the grilled items
Korean Spicy Riced Bowl (Rm 24)
Came with a medley of Korean spicy sauce, seaweed, sesame seed, spring onion and turkey ham; and then have them mix up and made into rice balls.
Of course we must not end our night just like that, so we ordered Super Boring Club’s special cocktails to cheer!
Sake Lychee (Rm 26)
Sake Asamboi (Rm 26)
Sake Yuzu (Rm 26)
Sake Lemonade (Rm 26)
Celebrated Christine’s birthday!
