Sunday Coffee & Cakes @ Taman Bukit Indah, KL
Another Thurs-date to go. This round, it was a Thursday date in Sunday
Sunday Coffee & Cakes
A quaint looking café hidden here in this quiet neighbourhood of Taman Bukit Indah, sharing the same row with Tanuki by Crustz , offering breakfast/ brunch items that are mainly bread, pastries and coffee.
The bread and pastries displayed on the counter reminded me of a café in Australia. Though I have never been, I saw it on social media/ blogs. Can’t wait to make a visit to Australia in real soon!
On the menu, it is pretty simply and the options may seem limited but their homemade stuffs are really something that worth checking out, especially the bread loaf!
Tamagoyaki Sando (Rm 18)
One of the Sunday’s specials, with house made juicy tamagoyaki laced with golden brown crispy crumbs that came with a hint of sweetness and wasabi tanginess, sandwiched in between fluffy white toast; served with pickled radish on the side. Very Japanese-inspired kind of sandwich.
Toast with butter (Rm 9)
Fat white toast, house made seaweed butter and classic unsalted butter with honey. Looks rather simple but that fluffy thick toast is kinda addictive, especially with a spread of seaweed butter that is infused with the umami-ness, a drizzle of honey makes it a special combination. I really love this.
How could I miss a cup of coffee during café hopping?! Flat white (Rm 11) and 55% Milk Chocolate (Rm 12) for the day. They offer a variety of filtered coffee and tea such as Pur Er, Long Jin too.
