Upperhouse Kitchen & Dessert Bar @ Bangsar
Dessert, is something not to be missed after my meals. That sweet kick is a must to satisfy the palate after all the savouries. No matter how full I am, I will still full stop a meal with a dessert, be it a small piece of chocolate to a piece of cake.
Where’s the latest dessert place in town???
Upperhouse Kitchen & Dessert Bar
Nestled in Telawi area, Bangsar, Upperhouse is an Australian-inspired dessert bar and kitchen that serves contemporary western cuisine and plated desserts. The ambience is clean and bright, filled with artsy wall and corners for instagrammable purpose. There is a kids friendly corner too! Papa mama can date out with the little ones over here.
Behind all these beautifully plated desserts and handmade chocolates at Upperhouse Bangsar are Hester Ling and Gerard Ng, who are both professional pastry chefs passionate about desserts. Be sure to appreciate the desserts with your sense of sight and taste before digging in, because their exquisitely crafted desserts are very detail, very unique and they are just like pieces of artwork. Every component for the plated desserts is made in-house and is very time consuming, but both chefs ensure each dish to be an artwork where attention to detail is of utmost importance.
We were asked to give a rub on these leaves before sampling the desserts.
