It’s a casual and relaxing Sunday! Let’s move along with the beats!
The restaurant welcomed us with a buffet counter filled with a selection of shucked Cadoret oysters, cheese platter, small bites and desserts. Feel free to hop over for some small bites while waiting for your mains to arrive.
Free flow of Veuve Clicquot champagne, Terrazas Reserva Chardonnay, Terrazas Reserva Malbec and a variety of cocktails from the Belvedere Spritz Collection will also be served. Who doesn’t love this?!?!?!?!
We started off with chef’s signature entrée that came with gratinated lobster thermidor. This beautiful Canadian lobster was stuffed with old-style mustard and oven baked. The flesh was juicy, sweet and flavourful!
The lobster entrée was side with a spoonful of caviar, foie gras with apple rim, crispy toasted brioche, cherry tomatoes shooters and caprese salad. Oh my, I felt so posh! Especially with the presence of caviar and foie gras. The cherry tomatoes shooters was very appetizing and refreshing too, work like the appetize booster for the tummy to fill in more mains. Yum!
Smoked Cohiba Grilled Wagyu Beef
Grilled wagyu beef that was smoked with Cohiba cigars, served on a bed of cauliflower puree and side with lemon gel and oyster and seaweed emulsion. Sadly, the wagyu beef was too dry.
Pan Seared Altantic Cabillaud
Eggs Parfait Cooked at 63degree
Seared Hokkaido Scallops
Huge, fresh and succulent Hokkaido scallops was pan-seared and served with a creamy and thick artichoke veloute. Excellent!
Slow Cooked Lamb Shoulder
Served with red onions, parmesan gnocchi, pomegranate gel and lamb jus
Grilled Octopus
Another amazing piece of work. The octopus was grilled and served with corn cream, Japanese black garlic puree and Provencal sauce vierge (which is a type of French sauce). Surprise surprise! The octopus was chewy and bouncy, dressed up with the sauces and it gave a mega flavour on the palate.
Chocolate Surprise
On a bed of Sable Breton Crumble (French shortbread cookie) was the vanilla ice cream and a chocolate sphere which contained fresh blackberries, chocolate syphon and I love that drizzled of old chocolate sauce very much! The more the better! Chocolaty and rich! Chocolate lover will easily finish up that whole plate.
French Rum Baba
Orange, rum, pistachio sponge and raspberry gel.
The next brunch session will be on 3rd September, 1st October, 5th November and 3rd December. Wait no more! Do book yourself table if you love all these premium treats!
