French Afternoon Tea @ Maison Francaise, KL

An afternoon tea on the weekend, with a tete-a-tete session, chilled in the classic swanky monotone French place, over the whole afternoon. Who doesn’t love this kind of activity?

Weekend Afternoon Tea in Maison Francaise definitely wow-ed my heart. Dainty macaron, fluffy choux, classy madeleines, elegant pastries; all beautifully served on the two-tier stand. What’s more?! This place is very instagrammable, with the chic and lavish ambience furnished with sophisticated details every corner in the French house.

Thanks to Chef Florent and his team, bringing out this new weekend afternoon tea to all the afternoon tea lovers that wouldn’t break a hole in the wallet, as I find it very worth spending on. My fake tai-tai mode onz! Stat!

– In-house Smoked Salmon White Bread Sandwich
– Soft Milk Bread Sandwich with Roasted Chicken, Celery & Truffled Mayonnaise

Sweet Things come with an assortment of French classic and custom desserts.

I would find myself digging in the savouries rather than sweet stuff in many afternoon tea places; but here, I polished off both sweets and savouries.

Love the breads and pastries on the savoury side. The breads were all freshly baked, served warm, soft and fluffy; the fillings that sandwiched in between were really good; the croissants were buttery and flaky!

On the sweet side, everything was amazing and what I love most were the fluffy Choux Craquelin that was sandwiched with heap of fresh cream, Fresh Fruit Tartlets, and the classic Madeleines and tangy Raspberry Financier.
