Common Man Coffee Roasters @ Plaza Vads, TTDI

Sometimes ago when Common Man Coffee Roasters first opened their door here, I was already there with my café hopping kaki, enjoyed the cuppa over a wholesome brunch.

Came all the way from Singapore and popped up in the neighbourhood of TTDI, offering all-day brunch style menu that looks so powerful and nutritious.

Enter the café and you will see the rattan seating on the side; from the entrance space, it will lead you to the spacious dining area with the coolest coffee bar counter in the centre of the café. Using the blend of wooden elements on the table and wall and the plush coloured cushioned stool chairs to create the modern vibe. The area is prettily dimmed with the soothing lighting while the window seating have got the most natural sunlight crawling in. And of course, those window seating are the most popular space in the café, due to the nbeautiful sunlight and for instagram purpose.

The brunch plate is priced from Rm 25 onwards and the hot cuppa is from Rm 9 onwards. To be honest, this is not the place I can afford regularly. But then, I don’t mind splurging once a long while for their beautiful hearty brunch, simply fall in love with the big plates they are using.

Came with free-range organic eggs in sunny side up style, steaky beef, smoked chicken sausage, confit herbed tomato, vegetable rosti, minted sour cream, wild mushrooms and honey rye bread. The portion is very huge portion which is good for sharing. Simply adore how they plated it and also the serving dish they use!

Sautéed Kale & Egg White Scramble (Rm 29) + Chicken (Rm 10)
Another wholesome dish which was really healthy. Dosed with healthy greens like kale, sweet pea, asparagus and topped with parmesan cheese and lemon zest crumbs. We topped up the salad with chicken stripes for addition protein to the dish. The chicken was well spiced and grilled to a moist perfection.

Fries (Rm 16)
Scream for the fries!!! We had this order very early in the morning for breakkie because of the cravings. Haha. Hand cut potatoes and sweet potatoes fries to dip in the light cheese sauce and spicy crab oil.
