Easter Sunday with Bubblylicious Brunch @ El Cerdo, Changkat Bukit BIntang, KL
Hop hop hop…
It the Easter Day this Sunday!
Let’s follow the bunny and hop into the oink oink place for an oink oink food feast!
Sunday Bubblylicious Brunch at El Cerdo
El Cerdo needs no much introduction I guess. This is crafted by Chef Werner Kuhn and his team, a restaurant that is specializing in serving the best pork dishes in town. Eat them from nose to tails.
Bubblylicious Brunch is available on every Sunday only; from 12 noon to 2.30pm. It embeds the all-you-can-eat concept with a variety of pork dishes on the cold appetizer buffer counter as well as in the brunch menu. Also, it comes with free flow of beverages.
What you need to do is… select the category (with or without alcohol) and then you can enjoy the oink oink brunch all noon!
Rm 148++ comes with free flow of Cava (Noche Y Dia Brute Nature Sparkling Wine) + House Wine (Red Wine and White Wine), Tiger Draft, Soft Drinks and Chilled Juices
RM 99++ comes with Free Flow Soft Drinks and Chilled Juices
Rm 49 ++ for children between 6 to 12 years old.
Who doesn’t love free flow of bubbly?! Started off with Cava, and cheers!
On the Cold Appetizer Buffet Counter, you will get a variety of pork cutlet, salad bar, parma ham and the sweetest rock melon cubes to go with the parma ham! Yum!!!
And also my favourite French Rilette and Pork Liver Pate. Oh boy, there was lots of the French Rilette to go with bread. My stomach can just go full having this French Rilette and bread alone.
Roasted Pork Loin
Available as part of their buffet section. The cuts were marvellous! Drenched in the gravy, it was tender, juicy and the texture was memorable.
Sausage Platter
Available in the brunch menu. The platter comes with assorted of sausages (bacon-wrapped cocktail sausages, German pepper, Thuringer, spicy Lyonner and farmer franks) served on a bed of creamy mashed potatoes, fluffy mixed potatoes salad and sauerkraut. Not many love the sourish sauerkraut but I love it. It helped to wash the greasiness of meat away and booting the appetite for the next dish.
Pork Belly Fettuccine
In love with the yummy chunks of pork belly that came with a great proportion of melt in mouth fatty layer and lean meat. It was a little mimic to the Chinese braised pork belly; served on a bed of al dente fettuccine with herbs.
Seafood Spaghetti
Seafood freshness overloaded! Also loaded with lots of prawns too!
Other pasta dishes available are Baked Macaroni and Spaetzle with Cheese and Ham
Going for more pork dishes
Pork Steak
Fancied this dishes the most! The meat was tender and flavoursome. Should have ordered this in the first place but we made it to the last dish. Or else there would be more spaces for this.
Wiener Schnitzel
A traditional Austrian dish, thin breaded pork and deep fried in golden brown and served along with the potato salad and a dollop of berry jam.
Hickory Smoked Iberico Soft Ribs
Infused with the tangy-sweet-smokey flavour. Love the idea of these dishes come in smaller portion so that we can try all of them.
Iberico Ribs Stew
Other meat dishes available is Roast Baby Back Ribs
Assorted Homemade Ice Cream and we had the Pistachio and Rum & Raisin. Rum & Raisin was intense with rich boozy flavour. Must order this if you are a big fan of rum! Mango Sorbet was amazing too. I find the texture is more towards mango puree than sorbet. So creamy and so rich.
Homemade Tiramisu, laced with liquor and creamy cheese.
Spanish Chocolate Cake
With the partner in crime – pretty mama.
Since it is Easter this Sunday, why not hop over for a Bubblylicious brunch with your kids too?! There is entertainment all brunch long. Kids will love the clown performance and colouring activities all noon while the adult can enjoy the bubbly and the oink oink dishes! Remember to call for reservation!
