Naughty Babe Dirty Duck
Located at one corner end of the shoplot in Hartamas, this is a casual restaurant that filled with lots of piggy décors, dimly lit cosy setting and most of the time; it is crowded with patrons who come here for the meat and booze after working hours. From the restaurant’s name itself, you will know what to order from the menu. They serve roasted suckling pig too!!!
We started off with Nacho, the addictive tortilla chips topped with a lot of flavourful bits.
And ham, served with rock melon.
Wildest Rocket Salad (Rm 19)
Served with pomegranate, crispy turkey ham, shaved parmigiana with honey lime dressing. A lovely portion for sharing. Would be delighted if the salad is loaded with more of their tangy dressing as it was a little ‘dry’ to us.
Sausage Platter (Rm 58)
Mix of Hungarian, German pepper, Chorizo, and Foot Long served on a bed of mashed potato and sauerkraut and the spicy mustard sauce on the side.
NBDD BBQ Pork Ribs (Rm 68 for full slab)
I was with a bunch of hungry ghost; definitely we need a full slab for all of us.
House’s signature “melt in your mouth” Pork Ribs that is lacquered with homemade barbeque sauce and grilled perfectly. Claimed to grill until the pull – off the bone texture, but we really can’t clean the meat off the bones easily. I don’t complain much as this, so far is the best I have had in KL (haven’t get a chance to try those in Bali), very much yummier than those from those American style restaurants in KL. The meat was tender, juicy and flavourful. The ribs were served with choice of dipping – tomato salsa and hot stuff which are pairing well with the pork ribs.
Dirty Duck (Rm 32)
Duck leg Confit served with sautéed yam and pork bacon, grilled zucchini and drenched in the mushroom sauce. What an interesting combination; with the duck, yam and pork bacon. The duck skin was very crispy!
Spaghetti Carbonara with Pork Bacon (Rm 20)
Spaghetti tossed with bacon, cooked in NBDD’s cream sauce. Love the fragrant bits of the bacon tossed in the creamy but light pasta.
Spaghetti Spicy Olio (Rm 19)
Spaghetti with olive, fresh herbs, garlic, chillies and zucchini, served with pork bacon bits.
Tiramisu (Rm 14)
Ladyfingers cookies dipped in coffee, layered with whipped mixture of egg yolks and mascarpone, flavoured with liquor.
Panna Cotta (Rm 12)
Italian creamy pudding served with black and red berries compote.
Tartufo (Rm 9)
Vanilla and chocolate ice cream with crushed almonds and chocolate powder. Looks a little like Ferrero Rocher but bigger in size and filled with the ice cream. This was finished within seconds as everyone was hunting after cold stuff that night. Yummy.
Crème Brulee (Rm 12)
Known as burnt cream. Rich soft and smooth custard base topped with a contrasting layer of hard caramel.
Baked Cheese Cake (Rm 14)
A classic, rich and creamy cheesecake
This restaurant serves a great hang out place with the bunch of friends. The staffs are friendly and the service provided is pretty attentive too. However, we find it quite stuffy and warm on where we seated, which is outside the restaurant. Be early if you would love to dine in here, else you will have to queue for quite some times to secure a table indoor.
