Cafe Crumbs @ Lucky Garden, Bangsar
Sunday ♥ Meet up ♥ Brunch ♥ Coffee
These are all my favorite things to do on this day of the week. Drinking a cuppa or two, sharing a hot meals and nibble more desserts; spell out interesting stuffs that happened over the past week.
On one Sunday, I got my bestie out to brunch.
Yes, we went through our same routine – meet up, brunch and coffee.
We settled in this warmth and hearty cozy cafe – Café Crumbs; which is nestled in the heart of Lucky Gardens, Bangsar. The café is decorated in a lil vintage-y way – with an old-fashioned pink bike rested in here; with colourful words and moustaches (their logo) all over the chalk boards; postcards, comics, instant films hung on the wall.
Here, the coffee is served in a tall mug. Pick your choice between Bristot 1919 and local coffee Aik Cheong. We had ours done with Bristot 1919.
Cappuccino (RM 7)
Mocha (RM 7.50)
Salmon Ninja (RM 15)
We had our Panini sandwiched with Smoked salmon, wasabi cream cheese, cucumber & seaweed and served with green salad with house dressing and chips. The bread is toasted into crispy-like. Love the soft yet spicy hint from wasabi cream cheese to go with the smokey smoke salmon. This combination is way so interesting.
Hehe, would love to do an inspired version at home.
Baby lime cake (RM 4)
Tangy, moist, soft and delicate; it was very flavourful with zest of lime. Polished clean, not a single tiny crumb was left on the plate.
Peach and Ginger Cheese Cake (RM 6.50)
The cookie base was nice but the cheese layer was not as velvety as I though, stuffed with small tiny bits of ginger and peach.
Back to basic. Yes, we love the idea.
The desserts here are all in old-fashioned way; a very homemade nature.
