Madam Kwan @ KLCC

  • Sumo

A week before He and She left to Cardiff, UK.
She wanted a meet out.
She wanted a small gathering for us.
She told me she wants to have Malaysian food very much.

Without hesitation,
He and She, Her and Me,
All 4 of us, Settled at Madam Kwan, KLCC.
It took us some times on the queue. Their business was well.
This is a well-known restaurant for their local delights and Malaysian’s best — Nasi Lemak.
The food served is quite generous in portion.
Honestly, it was too large for me to finish it up all by myself.
If you are a small eater, you can always share your portion with your friends, family or loved ones.
Taste-wise, the Nasi Lemak, Laksa, Char Kuey Teow were really good and had the wok hei
But the prices per plate are higher than what we normally had.
They even serve Hokkien Noodles!

Nasi Lemak — Aromatic coconut steamed rice served with chicken curry, sambal ikan bilis, dried shrimp floss, hard boiled eg, acar and fresh cucumber.

Acar

Nasi Bojari — Madam’s tri-coloured rice with assam prawns, beef rendang and deep fried chicken drumstick. The drumstick was large. Besides that, If you do not take beef, you can always change it for chicken.

Char Kway Teow — Flat rice noodles stir fried with chicken, prawns, sotong, egg and beansprouts.

Assam Laksa — Lai fun served in aromatic tamarind broth with fish, cucumber and onions.

Look at the mug with the thick black prawn pastehae gou, they just placed this big mug on your table. You can add as much as you want.

After the mains,

He and she shared an ABC ice kacang.

Me and her shared a cendol. It was Milky and delicious. As usual, you can add as much of gula Melaka as you like.

* Me and Her miss He and She very muchie.

RM15 for a plate of nasi lemak. Hmmm … least the Bojari’s not something one can easily get from roadside.
