The Grind Burger Bar @ Section 17, PJ
The house’s burger; tall and juicy.
It’s the burger hype these days, started by MyBurgerLab which opens in the evening with super long queue (always, I guess) and crowded with limited seats. If you are not into queue, here is an alternative choice for you to have burgers which opens daily (unless announced in facebook) during lunch and dinner hours. On the siblings’ day out, I brought them to this new burger place – The Grind Burger Bar. Well, in this burger place, you don’t have to queue, don’t have to make your order at the counter, and don’t have to pick up your ordered food when your number is called. What you need to do is, step in, grab a seat and wait for the staff to take your order and you will be served.
I opted for The Ol’ School Pork Cheeseburger (Rm 14) that came with pork patty, natural cheddar, and crisp green of the day, onion silvers, fresh tomato and mayonnaise. All their burgers are freshly ground, handpressed in-house using premium pork (or beef), served on an artisanal brioche bun with herbed fries and fresh salad. The pork patty was good but I still prefer mine from the Three Little Pig & the Big Bad Wolf. And when it is compared with the house’s beef patty, the beef patty wins.
Served with herbed fries
The Grind House Burger with beef patty (Rm 21)
The brioche bun Bacon, fried egg, caramelized onions, natural cheddar, crisp green of the day, onion silvers, fresh tomato and sweet Dracula mayonnaise that appeared in pinkish red.
Juicy, pinkish, beefy
The Wild Shroom Burger with beef patty (Rm 19)
Sandwiched in between the bun were the Sautéed wild mushrooms, natural Swiss cheese, crisp green, onion silver, fresh tomato and mayonnaise. This is my favourite of all as it appeared to be the patty was very juicy and the whole combination was in a sweet hint.
The burgers here are huge and it will go a bit messy without the help of fork and knife. Do forget about the messy moment as the burgers always best to be eaten with your hands. Aside from the burgers, there is something interesting in the menu too, such as the Big Black Dog which is actually the hot dog with in-house sausage and charcoal bun. Of course, you can customize your own burger too in this place too!

No offence but the pork patty from the 3 lil pig is more processed than patty from ramly burger. how is that even close to being acceptable?
